Hey y’all, first time around here in about a year. Wish I still lived in Texas but I’m in NC now. Figured I’d drop this here though for any east coasters lurking. Hope to return to Texas for alligator gar sometime in the next few years! NC can never compare, with the dinky longnose it sports, to waterways like the Brazos and Trinity.

Why is NC not a good spot for fishing ?Seem as though there must be a line stretcher of some kind ?

One would assume, but my region of NC is located in a swampy blackwater river basin and is heavily pressured. Have to drive a couple of hours in any direction to find anything good.
