You can launch at Edgewater off the bank. Pretty easy. Several place up around Shaw and tow. I’m not sure if any public ramps are open. I know if the lake stays this low the fishing is going to be phenomenal this fall and winter

Burnet County shows good to 997. Lake is at 996.5 so I guess it is now closed. Burnet is not a good choice in a south wind. I have not used it in a long time. Less water will make the fish easier to find.

Less water less people

So what ramps are currently open on Buchanan? Is there any way to get on the water if I don't want to launch off the bank? Thanks!

Nice ones Brandon, I haven’t fished Buchanan in years. I think I was launching off the bank at Edgewater last time I was there. Gonna have to head that way soon.
