Since I picked up my new to me 2016 Z521C this last weekend. I looked for 5-6 months to get a feel for the prices based on length, year, hours on the big motor and dual console. Since I don't fish tournaments I had fewer requirements than many of the boats I viewed on line. I saw the prices going down but the interest rates were going up, I had to stop the bleeding by biting the bullet now rather than waiting, the interest rate is brutal even with a high credit score.
With tax blah blah included + 5 years added warranty with no down our payment is $485.00 for 15 yrs.
What we picked up: 2) HDS 12s, 1 Garmin Live Scope, spot lock, 4 new tires, new trailer bearings & brakes, lower unit with 20 hours, spare prop, new Iconic charger and the last reading on the 250SX were all in the 102 range.
We knew from the beginning this was going to be our last boat, waiting for the right one was worth it.

Bought this '04 ZX200 in 2013 with 74 hours. Saw it online (a great deal) and bought it from an Air Force guy in Fort Walton Beach, Fl. He met me halfway on a lake in Mississippi, I tried it out (on his insistence) and drove it home. Absolutely no issues in ten years. [Linked Image]

I just bought a new to me, 2016 nitro z18. The deal I got was tremendous and even included upgraded electronics from
My current boat. Money is the most important factor though.

For those that cant go and pay 100 k for a boat, timing and patience is key. I was in the market for a new one for about 6 months in spring of 21 when interest rates started to skyrocket in April-May. Luckily, I was able to find something I liked and get a good rate locked before they got to bad. If I bought the boat today, it would cost me close to an additional 10k in interest over 10 years.

Everything on your bass boat is broken......You just don't know it yet.

I wanted a boat that their company backed it with customer service. I wanted a boat that had excellent craftsmanship. I didnt want a boat with plastic around the console. I wanted a fast boat. I wanted a boat that stands out compared to the field. Lastly, i wanted a boat that would be able to fish in between docks and behind docks without having issues. Every single boat company has something their boat does better than the other. all boats are going to have their issues. So the absolute most important thing for me was customer service. Put all of those together and decided i wanted a basscat. So i bought a 23 bass cat eyra. Wouldnt change a thing.

Just got my Falcon Predator from Sartins. It had everything I wanted and Billy Sartin made me a great deal. I've had Skeeters and Phoenixs and they are good boats. This one is simple and all business. I like it a lot.
Ken Smith panned it pretty good but this is the 2024 model, with a lot of good upgrades. The hull is patterned after the Stratos hull. That was a fast boat, So is this one, Atlas jackplate, Lithium batteries, hummebirds with a Garmin up front. PLus a radio that I didn' t order.
Anyway, price was the deciding factor here

Good Luck
