What a weekend on Lake Tawakoni! So many ways to catch fish right now! Early morning I’m chasing some bigger hybrids where they chase bait. I can see them on side scan and cast at them or they school on the surface. Gotta be fast for these fish but they are catchable. When that dies off there are plenty of points holding fish around the lake. I’ll catch a few more keeper hybrids casting into deeper water from the tops of the points. We’ll catch all the sand bass you want throwing Bo-Spins on the tops of the points. Trolling the pet spoon rigs is also catching a ton of sand bass right now. It gets hot but we usually have plenty of fish by 10-10:30! It’s a fun time of year!
