This was a brand I was seriously considering and then noticed all the inventory sitting. Plano marine has 13 22's still sitting on their lot with most dealerships already pushing 2024s. Texas boat world similar story. It looks like its almost impossible to sell a preowned one. Is this brand a one and done thing?

Not sure at all. Caymas came out swinging with a flagship boat and have a few pro anglers running their rigs. I bet the timing of their release didn't help as COVID was rampant and many folks had already bought expensive toys. I've seen a few at the ramps and they're nice looking rigs. Didn't Phoenix start out the same? I remember reading about how Phoenix was one and done, now look at them. Price them right and they will come.

I’d rock one. They look nice.

They seem like good boats. I did read a few guys complaining about early models having some sort of port list issue but I believe that was resolved. If I could find one for a reasonable price (when compared to Skeeter) I would 100% own it.

Barrett, one of my good friends is on his second one. Both from Plano Marine.

He was a hardcore Skeeter guy until he looked more closely at the Caymas.

I was in one with a guide up on Table Rock this spring. He is from up there and had been a Ranger guy his whole life until JM fired a lot of the Ranger reps, including his. He is on his 2nd one and loves it. I thought it was the nicest bass boat I have been on. Rode great and had many great features.

I don't think they are going anywhere.

I looked at Happykampers caymus up close, it's about as nice as a boat can get.

They seem like great boats and the people behind them know what they are doing. I bet they stick around. We fished the Austin division of Media this year and saw a bunch down there.

it seems like caymas didnt have a parts shortage in 2022 like every other boat company did so dealers ordered a lot of caymas cause they couldnt get other boats. Now dealers are stuck with inventory cause of the high interest rates .

Ask Ozziefish how he likes his. Not a boat built for Lake Fork.

I looked one over real close not long ago. If I ever decide to replace my Phoenix the Caymas will be on the short list.

Great boat. Love mine so far...I've had it since Feb- 2022. No issues, solid, quality built, handles rough water well, not a speed demon but fast enough. I think this fantastic economy and rates the way they are are a major factor. Also, the dealer you mentioned is priced more then some of the other CAYMAS dealers within a 4 hour drive of DFW. Many of the preowned ones I've seen don't make sense. 200+ hours on a year old boat asking near full price.

I’d like to know that as well because I’ve been all over Fork with mine and see no issue.
