ME N MY DAD ORIGINALLY WENT OUT TO CHOKE CANYON TO FISH FOR BIG GAR BUT WHEN WE FOUND OUT THEY WEREN'T BITING AND THE CATS WHERE WE STARTED FISHING FOR EM. WE ALSO CAUGHT 2 BLACK DRUM BUT U CANT C EM ON THE STRINGER 1 WAS ABOUT 5 OR 6 POUNDS AND OUR BIGGEST CAT WAS 7 lb.BUT WE DID ALSO CATCH 2 LITTLE GAR.SO WE DID CATCH WAT WE WENT THEIR 4 AND SUM. BUT IT WAS A TOTAL OF 55LBS OF FISH.

Great day of fishing there. I have been wanting to go do some bank fishing at Choke for some time. Didnt know you could catch any from the bank I got a little map here where were you guys. Did you check out any other areas? Sorry for all the questions just need some info on bank fishing Choke.  A: Highway 99 Ramp B: Mason Point C: Calliham Unit D: South Shore Unit E: San Miguel Ramp
