I use and love the Mustang Hydro-inflate. Won't inflate if it gets splashed. It has to be in 4" of water for the pressure to set it off. I wear all day when offshore and it doesn't get in the way. A bit pricy but hey I'm worth it. :):)

I have had the auto-inflatable SoSpenders for several years now. The only negative I have is that once during a storm I had taken them off while fishing and they were on the floor of the boat. There was a little pooling water and apparently it got to the auto-inflate deal. They went off and scared the bejeebers out of both me and the other guy in the boat. When I replaced the auto inflate and the cartridge I noticed that SoSpenders recommends inflating and replacing the cartridge and auto inflate mechanism once a year.

I have the Stearn's auto inflate. Very comfortable, great price and the cartridges are readily available, I tried on all of them before I bought one. I would recommend doing that so you can see if you will wear them. The Cabela's models were so uncomfortable I couldn't wait to get them off even in the store.

I looked at their vests but I could not tell who makes it. Does not llok like a Sospenders or a Mustang version. Had some odd maf. company for the replacement cylinders. Could not see any other identifying markings.
