For all you paupers crying about Icons price, here's their parent company HCB's target audience. Their top of the line HCB 65 Estrella with a starting price over $4.5m and a 2 year waiting list. Their don't care at all about you're paid for 1998 Skeeter.

POS! Just another over priced raft that burns a lot of fuel. They have a wait list cuz they only build few a yr cuz it too is fugly.

I’m sure it’s got some badass features, but yeh, it’s fugly. Looks like something the skipper and gilligan used.

The thing some people are forgetting is just because they are building Ikons does not mean they stopped building Skeeters, Rangers, Nitro, Phoenix and BassCats. Ikon is just another choice. Choices are good. The more we have the better it is overall.
Ikons are out of my price range but I hope they are successful and hope the guys buying them enjoy them.

I fish big blue water alot down in Cabo. And the HCBs are some of the best boats built. So I’m guessing you guys making fun of it don’t fish saltwater much!

Seen it. But have not been in it. Lots of Vikings down in Cabo.

I fish the deep blue waters of Mountain Creek and I have already seen several IKONs out there. I like what I’m seeing.

I crawled through one at Wieda's Marine last month. Wasn't overly impressed for the price range. Now the were in the process of rigging it so it didn't have the graphs and trolling motor mounted. Personally just thought it was a lot of hype... Go for it if it floats your boat... Dan thumb

Boats are expensive new no matter the style. No different than buying a truck to pull a boat. If you like to fish and can afford it buy it. If not go buy a used boat.

Some people buy a Bugatti. Some people buy an IKON. Who cares?

I don’t think so. I think people are resistant to the koolaide.

Ok, a new expensive boat brand is now koolaide, that’s a new one.

It’s not a boat I would be interested in but judging by the comments, it’s price tag is what triggers most.

The target audience for the boat has got to be retired people. They are a big sled. Imagine tournament fishing and running to your first spot and get passed by a ranger. Lol

You have issues if you have a 250 on your boat and a Ranger with a 250 can out run you...... LOL

I could care less about an IKON (overpriced) bass boat. My 2004 BassCat with a 250 is plenty fast at over 76+, has plenty of tackle storage, rides great and is paid for which was $100,000 less in price than the IKON, but hey if you like them "go for it" Its your money..... People are paying over $80,000 for trucks now, so you can have $250,000 invested in just your truck and boat. Go for it if that is what you are into.

Then get you a $100,000 electric car and you are set.

Comparing an Ikon to a Bugatti is hilarious.

I don't get involved in a man's wants. If a man wants something and has the ability to pay for it that's his business. I don't want a boat that goes slow so it makes no difference to me.
