I don’t know how much a 72” or 84” water line costs per mile but 345kv transmission lines were a million dollars a mile 10 years ago

https://freestonecountytimesonline.com/tpwd-responds-to-freestone-county-commissioners/TPWD finally responded to the Freestone Co commissioners letter, 5 weeks after it was sent. From it I gather that the state is still going forward but doing it at a snails pace. They disagree with the commissioners on the feelings of the people of Freestone Co. The letter also said they have not yet started eminent domain proceedings. I think maybe they have given up on it, having not submitted a final offer to Todd as of yet. Seeing how much work has been going on, I would have thought the state would have at least made a final offer and tried to get work stopped.

TP&W had their chance but waited hoping the park would be donated.
