In a vacuum sealer? Anyone ever done this? I thought about it once but didn`t do it. You could try it and see if it effects the quality when it thaws out. What do you have to lose. Throw it out and you`ll never know. Give us a report if it`s ok or not if you do freeze it though.

The correct spelling is "Tater" salad.

Never had done it. Love my Potato Salad (Tater Salad) fresh!

I can't see mayonnaise lasting long in the freezer. Maybe it will.
Smell it after you defrost a bag. See if it's funky.

Not a fan. For some reason, it changes the texture of the potato and makes it watery and mushy.

Some freeze everything. An aunt would freeze anything for years, swear uncle was in the freezers. Everything was thrown in a dumpster when she passed. But unless you hit the tater salad mother-lode, why freeze it.
