1) We all woke up as healthy as the prior days
2) The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the cicadas are humming away
3) We can watch fishing of 2 different leagues live
4) After watching fishing many of us can go fishing ourselves
5) I remembered I have yard work to do...so that will replace #4 for me

Yes, there's work mixed in there, but I'd rather not relish on the fact that I'm working.

Good attitude, I’m piddling around inside, I only do outside in the early am or evening

EVERY DAY is a good day for me nowadays-

Learning to live again without my legs or hands presents new challenges but its amazing how a human can adjust to something like this when you keep your mind open and not get wrapped up in self pity-

I would have never chosen this “new” life on purpose, however I'm extremely grateful that I survived and have a better chance to enjoy more years of watching my family grow, and so many things like the grandkids sports, birthdays and enjoying more years with my wife-

So i agree avidbasser, today is a VERY good day indeed-

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

My late wife had a change in life quality similar to this. She was diagnosed with MS and went from being able to walk, run, and dance, to being in a wheelchair and incontinency issues within 8 months. Ultimately the depression and MS took her after a 2 year battle.

Prayers for you and continued strength to keep on enjoying life as only you can.

I am grateful. Every day I see the glass at least half full and could not imagine if it were any other way. Life is full of ups and downs, and yes I have had my share of both. Life can strengthen us or bring us down. I would rather climb up as opposed willingly be tumbling down.... gain is not easy....such is life

Dad always said "everyday is a good day, just some days are better than others."
