Depends on the time of year. Our house in Colorado in the summer. Our land in South Dakota (going there this Wednesday for a week or so), the beach house in fall and Christmas. One of the best vacations I’ve ever had was when I first got married, before kids, we just loaded up the truck and went west. Into New Mexico, Colorado, and around and back. Each night we would look at the little flyers in whatever motel we wound up in and see what the attractions were. We’d go, then find lunch, drive to the next area we wanted to see, and do it again. That vacation, we went to Carlsbad caverns, the “Diamond rode”, Red River and Angel Fire, up into Pagosa Sorings, million dollar highway, white sands, Cadillac Ranch, lots of newly wed stuff at night ( ) saw the cave dwellings, four corners, then back home. Probably spent $800 in a week. We thought we were high rolling it.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

Our little house in the back of Rayburn Country. Dirt road, not many people and pretty good lake to fish in to boot.
Thanks, Billy

My back yard. I can sit and enjoy the view of the mountains nearby. Can enjoy the wildlife out back by our pond (deer, foxes, birds, etc). Just have to take a day off from gardening and other yard work and call it a vacation.
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

Spent the weekend in Chicago on the Chicago River. What an amazing part of the city, was cleaner than any major city I have visited. Everyone was cool, friendly, 420 legal, jazz, food, hit Wrigley for a game, riding the L was easy and crazy cheap. Will be heading back in the near future.

Steez those types of vacations are always fun for us too. We try and do one like that about once every 10 years or so.
Carmel and Monterrey, Ca are amazing spots that are tough to duplicate anywhere else.

The mountains of Colorado in the winter. We love snow, the pristine whiteness, the wildlife, everything about it. We also love the mountains of northern New Mexico.
