any suggestions on a good place to catch some bluegill. i am in point blank.

I have not fished Livingston. However this time of year you can usually find Bluegill by boat docks, bridge pillars, and other types of structure. Good luck and let us know how you do.

I would be interested in a report as well. I've searched the web many times and have yet to find a bluegill report on Livingston. TPWD survey shows a very low number of bluegill in the lake and very few over 6 inches.

The man I am going to visit, fishes there. He only catches Catfish and small Hybrids. But he just moved there and is still learning the lake.

Lake Livingston isn't known for it's bluegill population. It has a high concentration of white bass, stripers and catfish. Most folks that want bluegill around here will go to Conroe, Houston County or even Sam Rayburn.
If you have side imaging I would check areas around docks in 5~9' of water and look for active beds. Possibly up in some of the feeder creeks as well.
