Anyone know of any decent places to stay close to the lake? I haven't been there in years. The only place that I am aware of is Sportsmans Lodge. Are there any other options? I am trying to plan a trip in the next month to go check it out.

Concho Park Marina, Sportsman's Lodge, and Elm Creek RV and campgrounds are the three most popular.

I enjoy the restaurant at Concho Park, but it is a ways from the good areas closer to the dam.

During the heat of the summer its hard to beat the ACs at Sportsman's Lodge.

The people at Concho Park Marina are as friendly as they get, but our rooms were hot and I hate running the river as I mostly fish the lower end of the lake.

I haven't had any issues at Elm Creek Either.


I've always enjoyed the food at both Concho Park and Elm Creek.

Their is a really nice VRBO in elm creek park

Thought all of the elm creek park had restrictions on doing VRBO. Or atleast they did when I was looking salt a place a few years ago

I know there are a few laces that came open down in Gattlin and up the road

It’s apparently in David’s leases you can’t do it but I think some are.

Just look for all the boats bumping rub rails on the main lake points

Stayed at Concho this last weekend, Cold AC and cleanish room. Not to pricey either! the food at the store is pretty darn good !

Stayed there in April and staying there again in August
