I am wondering ... I know TFO has relocated, but do they have a showroom and ability for walk-ins, and walk-in sales at their new location. And has anyone been there? These new rods are both tempting in their own unique ways! And I have to start thinking about replacing rods I sold off for the bigger salt rods! Redington sure has a great combo going - https://farbank.com/products/redington-field-kit-tropical-saltwater-890-4 - but of course that's "heavy" now!

More rod brands are coming to my attention, and it's hard to try and ignore the heavy weights! There are the local one-piece rods by Sawgrass - https://sawgrassrods.com/collections/blackout-fly-rod-collection and I have two of the 6wt Nirvana rods in my possession right now - the Phoenix glass and the Moksha graphite. The Phoenix is fun, and I'd say the Moksha is seriously good. https://nirvanaonthefly.com/ Hard not to wonder about the Moksha in a 7'6" 3wt now!

I have 4 kids and 6 TFO fly rods in the family. Just got back from fishing the upper Rio Grande with a 3wt & 4wt. You won't be disappointed with their rods or customer service. I know they are working on a show room at their new location but not sure if its finished.

If looking for a heavy rod, there is a post on the Dallas Craigslist for an Orvis Access 7 wt. for $50 in the Prosper area.
