Do you put anything in the sock or is it just for big things?
One thing I did on my 20-gallon creek Bank tank I went to hardware store and bought some a/c filter material. The cut to fit blue stuff. I use it along with the original filter but to the front or line side, It catches all the big part and makes it easier to clean the filter.
I thought about trying to add some kind of charcoal type filter.

I ordered the filter socks from Creek Bank, they filter everything, no need for additional stuff. The Amquel I use detoxifies the ammonia same as charcoal and the chlorine in tap water.

Does anyone have an opinion on Grayline tanks? I found a new 17 gal for sale near my house and was thinking of pulling the trigger.

Not worth the money. The tubing or return tubing is in with the bait and very cumbersome . Seems that the bait gravitate to this and can be an issue .

I have a grayline and have no complaints. It keeps them alive well and I have no trouble getting bait out. Might be better tanks but I am very happy with mine.

Thanks. There is a better tank out there, but it is $2k. lol
I think I'll take my chances with a $700 tank.

I have an old Grayline, it has worked great for years. There is better out there now, but im sticking to it. The only thing is that pump suction tube, a few will hide behind it.

I now have 4 trips (including today) with the new Creek Bank tank. Haven’t lost a single bait since I bought the tank. I’m very happy with the purchase. Baits are very lively and healthy, has really helped my numbers/entertainment with family and friends.

Did you get one of the new Version 2s? And what size Creek Bank?

I'm really thinking hard about ordering a Creek Bank tank soon.

Thanks. I'm thinking about either the 20 or 30.

It is really simple for most applications where you are fishing up your bait within a half day.

1 bait per gallon capacity
allow bait to precondition in 5 gal buck for a couple min before transferring into tank. Transfer bait not water.
1 handful of salt per 20 gallons
10 pounds of ice per 20 gallons
add bubbler stone to bottom for oxygen saturation and ammonia flash off from bubbles- I use the $35 two stone 12V bubbler from academy
insulated tank with lid open as much as possible to exhaust ammonia
filters definitely help but not critical if you don't overpopulate the tank and fish them within a few hours.

For fishing use the lightest leader line and thin wire hooks you can get away with. This will keep the bait lively!
hook through nose
count down 2' pull extensions vs bottom up
