Amsoil is what I have been using for many years now in my boat motors. No issues at all with any of them.

I talked to my boat mechanic about 10 years ago about my 2001 Mercury EFI always smoking when I start it up. He told me to switch to a high-dollar brand. I used it for several months and saw absolutely no difference. I switch back to the Super Tech.

There is no way I believe Walmart oil is better than Amsoil. Not at all.

The Walmart brand of oil (SuperTech), is manufactured for Walmart by Warren oil. It is good stuff, you can research it yourself.

Been saying it for years, Amzoil is overrated, overpriced and overblown, don’t fall for buying Amzoil, it’s a “RIP OFF “

Super Tech or Pennzoil premix in my 79 Black Max, it doesn't care and still running...only Mercury or Quicksilver DFI oil in my Opti...

I have a 1999 225 Opti. My manual says use Mercury Premium Plus. Somewhere Mercury changed their mind to run DFI oil. Well DFI was not TC-W3 approved. I don’t know if it is now or not. My whole problem with Mercury, Yamaha and Evinrude is that none of them own a refinery to make their oil. It is all made by a 3rd party contractor. Check the MSDS of your favorite oil to see who actually makes it not who puts their name on it.

Gasoline at the appropriate ratio to run those small two stroke generators in the testing.
