*no fancy mom and pop taquerias, etc. We are talking big chain drive thru.

Worst = "Jack in a sack tacos"

Got to drive 45 miles for Taco fast food. Taco John's = Nope.

I have been in every single one of those kitchens and seen all of their kitchen and food handling practices. Y’all wanna know what I know about these places?

If I really thing about it, I could prolly remember exact locations.

I'd move Bueno down just above Taco Bell. And move Jack in the Box tacos just above those two.

Taco Cabana used to be much higher. They did something very wrong with their meat supplier around 1999.

Taco Bueno was great before it sold out years ago. Fuzzy's has pretty good lettuce tacos.

Taco Bell - #1 Fast Food on my radar - the BEST Hot Sauce available - Fire Sauce is the Champ !!!!
Taco Cabana - Enjoy their Chicken Fajita Burrito the most and the Breakfast Taco's, regular tacos pass - again no Hot Sauce available.
Taco Bueno - Best when you have a bunch of Taco Bell Fire Sauce Packets available to complete the flavor, otherwise they are bland.



Rosas - too much black pepper used at the Murphy one...

Pollo Regio - never been, always a Taco Bell available.
Taco Casa - never been, always a Taco Bell available.
Pollo Salsa - never been, always a Taco Bell available.
El Pollo Loco - never been, always a Taco Bell available.

Velvet Taco - No Value - overpriced.
Fuzzy’s taco - No Value - overpriced.




Taco Delite - bad experience, wrote them off.
Jack in the Box tacos - I'll go without or eat at McDonalds before Jack in the box... the only thing worth the money at JinBox is the breakfast Jacks.

Homemade tortillas makes the bestest tacos and burritos.

I will go out of my way to find a Taco Casa.

If I’m on the road very early in the morning, it’s Jack in the box.

Taco Bueno has the best potato burrito.

Who has the best puffy tacos?

Taco Cabana fell waaaaaaay down 15 years ago and then just when you thought they couldn't get any worse, Covid hit and they just gave up as a food purveyor altogether. I truly can't believe they're even still in business.

For day in and day out quality and consistency, give me Rosa's. Quality is used loosely as we are speaking of fast food here.

When they have the staff to do what they've been trained to do and do it right, Pollo Loco is very high on that list. However, Pollo Loco also has the largest room for error and when they F it up, it's absolutely terrible. When they REALLY F it up, people can get really, really sick.

For pure consistency and something fast and reliable, Taco Bell and Taco Casa are very close to one another and both have very good food handling practices.

Fuzzy's, Velvet, and Jack are EXTREMELY greasy kitchens that I'm not a fan of.

I won't go into detail about Pollo Regio but I will say that I have worked in their kitchens extensively and I choose to spend my dollars at other places.

Delite, Bueno, and Salsa are simple middle of the road places that would most likely work in a pinch if there weren't anything else around.
