Dang... Makes my yearly donation to the USO look inadequate... Maybe I should head on down and flash a few soldiers at the local USO... Dan bannana2

My last few months in Vietnam, back in the 60s, I was a liaison between my artillery battery and the infantry battalion we were supporting. This position was normally filled by my superior (a 1st LT) but he had been promoted to Captain and got his own command, so since I was the NCOIC his observing job fell to me.

Most afternoons I got to ride shotgun in one of those small "bubble" helicopters looking for places the NVA might be or might have been. We never saw any women flashers, just a few dressed in black pajamas who would shoot at us.

Family is everything!

Life is precious. We don’t have forever. We have now. This moment. We can choose to love our lives now.

When I was a flight medic, we would purposely fly over lake Havasu, or any part of the Colorado river, because we would get flashed. Best was a group of 12 topless women Kayakers. They looked real and fabulous.!

My last gig was MH-53 Pavelows. In Aug ‘05 most of my unit was a bit north of Baghdad, the remaining folks at home station flew Hurricane Katrina relief. That month we had more “battle damage” home station than in Iraq. Them thugs were shooting at the people there to save them.

Great idea. I'm going to start exposing myself to helicopters. I'm all about boosting morale.
