I like how the topic turns to property taxes. Like 90% of us could have something like that. roflmao
Out of the 10% that COULD afford it, 1 of them might have the talent to actually fill it with something worthy.

Your dad has a bad [censored] place Spagnola! Watch out! Some of these guys will be screaming condemnation and try to get the state to rob your family of the property. roflmao

Thanks man. For the guys on here that have met him, he really is pretty cool. 6th grade education, hardest dang worker you have ever seen. Even at 63 that man is outside in this heat busting his but every day doing something. There is nothing you see that he hasn't worked very hard for. Started his own small car lot at 15, bought his first commercial property at 16. I can't even think of how many buildings he has owned in my 42 years on earth.

How are the ponds filled? Natural or water wells

call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

Cannot imagine him wanting to sell that after so much work and creating a beautiful place. Only person I know on here that can afford that is WAWI, and it is close to two of his most favorite lakes, Texoma and Ray Roberts. yes

Good luck on the sale

It's one of the highest elevation areas in Collin County. There are tons of ponds around there that feed into the ponds. I guess those back ponds are very very very old. Shoot there is even someone buried out there from when the railroad ended in Weston (about 3 miles from this property). In the 8-9 years my parents have had that land those ponds have stayed full.

He still has about an an equal amount of land that joins it. Just built an amazing house and will build an even better shop now.

people who purchase these types of properties do not talk of bubbles or worry much about price if they want it

That is most definitely true. The guy in front of me has about a 1000 acres high fenced. He started trying to sell off parcels at 20-25 an acre about 6 months ago. Not one lot has sold and I feel pretty certain he doesn’t care

This is one of the fastest growing areas of Collin County, right where the Dallas North tollway ends.
