This is not a comparison to other tanks. This is actually my first bait tank I’ve ever owned. I will say it beats the hell out of my boat live well. I’ve used the tank 6 times now. I put in the recommended amount of pool salt, a couple handfuls of ice, lake water, and plug it in. It’s extremely easy so far. The dual sock filter system and pump are working great. The water on the bait side actually clears up a little by the end of the day. I’ve loaded it down with no telling how many Shad and still have not found the “that’s too many” number yet. After being in the tank for 6-8 hours I’ve yet to see more than 10 dead, I can catch hybrids all morning with lively healthy baits. Go back out in the afternoon, add a handful of ice and continue catching with lively baits. Compared to my live well, baits die before I get down the lake this time of year. Catching hybrids with live bait requires a bait tank this time of year and I’m extremely happy the this Bait Boss Tank. It was ordered and delivered within a week. Great communication with the seller as well. It’s 23 gallons and size fits perfect for me and my 20ft boat. Not to mention it’s more affordable than most tanks.

As a suggestion, put a frozen bottle of water to keep shad Calm and alive. Works great , used this in my super tank 30 gallon for over 10 years keeps them alive and frisky for hours.
