How long have you owned this boat?
What prop are you using?

Hmmm, well that certainly makes it interesting since it’s a completely new problem. If it was just a new prop, I’d say that the PVS plugs were blowing out and causing too much prop slip. But since it’s happening with 2 props, that’s where the odd, comes in. It does seem like I’ve read a similar complaint before, on another forum. Right now, it’s basically revving up and not really going anywhere? If you don’t find the help you need here, try this forum. They’ll want to know the motor serial number and what replacement lower unit you installed. https://www.bbcboards.net/forumdisplay.php?f=6

I have seen this before. A Fury prop usually solves this problem

first thing I would suggest is send the prop to josh and let him tune it for the champion, he does an excellent job tuning for our rides (I have a 202). http://stevescustomprops.com/do you have a jackplate? if so hyd. or manual? what is prop to pad set at now? with kill switch off (best to even remove the plugs so no compression) put it in gear and try to turn it by hand. there should be a little play but then it should lock up tight if not spun. do this in F and R.
