I’m going to look at a 2000 model year center console for sale. I’m not too concerned about the boat, but the 90hp Mercury troubles me. It’s getting up there in age.

I’m having trouble assessing the Scout value from NADA -type websites. I can’t find the exact model. The engine was easy of course.

Advice?

Super reliable motor. Ran the snot out of one on a tunnel skiff, 4,000+ hours and still runs strong. If compression is good wouldn’t be afraid.

Don’t know anything about that boat. Sorry.
