I sold all my Daiwa SV TW's because of the t wing and the brake control dial. When flipping and pitching I keep my index finger under the line. This would cause the line to ball up on one side of the reel because it was coming through the top of the guide. Also always had the brake control dial moving from the palm of my hand. Went all in with Shimano's and problem solved.

My first high end reel was a Daiwa... Didn't really care for it. Then I found Shimano and been with them ever since... Dan

I just mailed the signed picture to add to your wall

Wall of shame....LOL

You’re obsessed

You are Frank, you post a negative comment to all of my responses recently so I will take your picture and put it on the side of the toilet at work so you can have visitors all day long. How about that. You like that? Give it a rest already Frank. Like I told you before you sent me a P/M asking me to go easy on you and I said I would but you are starting up again with your nonsense. Get over it already. Learn to grow up already, you are old enough to do so. You are totally clueless about everything.

Just stop.....can you do that????

I’ve had Daiwas since the mid-90s. Then I went other routes for awhile. When the T-wing came out, I tried them. I got back on the Daiwa habit. I’ve purchased older non T-wing models sort as a collector just to have and not use them. I don’t know for sure, I guess I have 30+ of various T-wing versions. I use them all because they have different uses. I love the Boost systems and I’ve purchased Boost spools to put in some of the older SV models. I put ZPI spools in most of the Zillions and Steez A models. All my newer Daiwas have ZPI bearings.

I’ve stored or gave away almost all of the non Daiwa reels I had. I guess I’d be called a fan boy.
