I'm looking at starting a fishers of men division in Corsicana, we would fish richland chambers and cedar creek twice and probably fish athens once. Just curious how many guys might be interested in fishing this next year if I get it going.

I fished North Central for almost 15 years, including when you were fishing it, and Northeast the last 3 or 4. We probably wouldn't fish the entire schedule but might hit Cedar Creek with you guys. I like Richland Chambers and Athens, too.
Sounds like a fun trail.

I know they are pretty large here in Alabama, they have a pretty nice setup for their tournaments.

Next year entry on fishers of men is 150 team tourney and there is a chance to qualify for district tournaments and potentially nationals. Tournaments prob be Feb thru june

Love fishing Athens. Do not like fishing tournaments on Athens. Gets small quick, and I don't like being disappointed when I catch 20 inch fish.

Athens is why I'm interested! I like the other two also, but love fishing Athens. Makes you use strategy for unders and then try for an over. I've never really liked the "catch smaller fish to win" strategy for tournaments.
