I love the N button! Leave it where it’s at What's the difference between the N button and the constant on ?? Those who dislike the placement of the N button must be one sided. I believe if you point motor at a spot and hit the N it will take you to that spot, constant on will not do that, well maybe it would if there was zero wind. When I had mt Ultrex I was always hitting the N accidentally too, needs to be moved or made to be where you can deactivate it. No the N button doesn't "take you to a spot", it takes you to a direction.

Well I guess that is correct but I think if you point the motor at a point or tree row or whatever it will take you there, it will allow for the wind and current, at least I think that is the way I understood it, been a few years since I had the Ultrex.

You hit Continuous and point it in the direction you want and hit N and it will drive straight in that direction. I use it often.

Can they get rid of the annoying N button that I don't understand purpose of and constantly hit with my foot It's auto pilot basically, press the "N" and then you turn on the motor to constant "on" and then you point the motor in the direction heading you want it to travel. Adjust the speed as you want it. it will then maintain that course and speed adjusting for wind or current. Works great when fishing a fence line or road bed.

What kind of fat foot do people have to constantly hit the side buttons. In 3 years I’ve never accidentally hit a button on there I didn’t mean to.

Guess you are one of the lucky ones with a perfect foot. I think seeing how many replied on here saying they have that issue says a lot more about it than one person not having an issue. I guess it's just a made up issue so many are having. Myth busted.

But I also don’t think 4 people on a forum are representative of hundreds of thousands of people that don’t have that issue. Pretty sure more than 1 person, as you said, right here in this thread have no issue with randomly hitting buttons. But thank you. I’m sure minn kota sales will plummet because of this issue.

Literally the pedal is like 8” wide lol And literally the button is 2" wide and is raised at the bottom of pedal. It gets hit as you step or slide it across to hit pedal or moving foot away. Not everyone keeps a foot on pedal the whole time looking like Captain Morgan. The actual pedal area where you place your foot is separate from the buttons but what happens in some boats with recessed trays is the N button is in a position with the floor where they get hit as you are moving around the deck just fishing as well.
