Any recommendations on a long landing net? Had Ego 2 slider that broke.

I have one similar to this, don't like the folding hoop type but slide handle lets it store under passenger console. ![[Linked Image]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81H9fDUywEL._AC_SL1500_.jpg) Frabill Conservation Slide Handle Net | Teardrop Hoop Size: 17" X 19" | Sliding Handle: 36" | Netting: Tangle-Free Micromesh | Net Depth: 16"

I have the Frabil that retracts into the handle. Really great for storing and staying out of the way until needed. However, it will grab a crankbait and not let go. It's ok on single hook baits like a worm or spinnerbait, but when I net a crankbait fish, I spend the next 30 minutes trying to get the hooks out of it. Sometimes I just cut them out and that's a whole other issue. Cool design, just needs a better net material. Not even sure if they make them anymore though.

Yeah, sorry to hear that. I've used the B'n'M Buck's Graphite Standard Landing Net and it was great. Solid construction and plenty of length. Plus, it wasn't too spendy. Maybe give it a look-see?
