We put GoldenShiner fry into our bass lake annually in areas that are shallow with a lot of cover to provide the best chance for growth. This year we have a separate smaller lake with no bass into which we put a bunch of golden shiner fry as we want to help them grow and then transfer them to the main lake. My question is outside of the algae blooms that will happen in that small pond what are the thoughts of using Aquamax Fry Starter 100 powder to help the grow more quickly? Thanks.

I think you are on the right track using a separate pond without bass to raise the shiners in.

However, that rich fish food is asking for huge algae blooms. If it were mine, I would use Tilapia in that growing area to reduce the algae...small Tilapia that is because after about three or four pounds the older Tilapia can become predatory on small fish.

Also, I would be very careful not to overload the growth pond at the risk of killing everything in a crash.
