I was reading this sub was composite. I’m thinking these people are toast and now the whole things about the diameter of a soda straw. I saw a picture of the sub. It looked like something that someone built in their garage. You would have to be an idiot to get in that piece of junk.

Multiple reports of "banging noises" at 30 minute intervals which is the proper submariner protocol if trapped with no other means of communication.

When you pay $250k for a sub ride and find it is controlled by a $40 Logitech modified video game controller, you might want to reconsider your trip.

So by that logic the more expensive something costs the more reliable it is? I guess you better inform the DoD so they can start redesigning our future drones. https://taskandpurpose.com/tech-tactics/us-military-video-game-controllers-war/

You are not riding around in the drone.

What if it’s found and only 1 survivor, but we learn he killed the others for oxygen preservation. Hero or murderer ?

Now they are saying that sounds or noises coming from the submersible recovery area rather than possible banging noise from the submersible.
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

Lots of bad taste comments about this tradgey in this thread, How can people sink so low? It's human nature for some, I think. How some cope with disasters. Still remember the jokes that were flying around after the Space Shuttle blew up.
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!
