The only way I'd get back on a submarine is if I was recalled to the Navy or if it was a Disney Land/World. What about the submarine at Aquarena Springs? That place was great!

I heard it all fell apart when Ralph the Diving Pig decided to go solo. The envirohippies decided sometime in the 90’s that Ralph’s [censored] was polluting the river and killing some kind of endangered rice in there. So they got rid of Ralph. Shortly thereafter, I’m told that it became far more difficult to go nighttime frog gigging at the springs. Allegedly. So I’m told. In my opinion.

I was reading this sub was composite. I’m thinking these people are toast and now the whole things about the diameter of a soda straw.

They were diving to the Titanic. Seems to me that unless there are really bad currents to sweep them away, that they would be in a generalized area.

Only hopeful note is that I have heard this submersible holds about 4 days oxygen supply. Based on the company's information, Mauger said the submersible has a 96-hour emergency sustainment capability, which would include oxygen and fuel. "So we anticipate that there's somewhere between 70 and the full 96 hours available at this point,'' he said. https://www.msn.com/en-us/travel/ne...left-live-updates/ar-AA1cKRjt?li=BBnb7Kz
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

I suspect this is ending badly. It just sounds like a bad idea to begin with.

Even if they were found, how would you get people out of a disabled submarine and into another craft that far below the sea?

You can't...... you'd have to untangle em if they're hung up/stuck or, if they're ballast won't drop etc attach a cable and haul them to the surface. This almost has to be an implosion event, in which case under such incredible pressure death would be instantaneous. The logistics of this rescue mission..... time, deep diving submersible, etc etc etc are very probably almost impossible to imagine..... almost impossible. Almost like a rescue in space.....

Sad deal, but if money was no option I'd jump at the chance to see the Titanic from a sub.

an ex navy guy with knowledge said there is no way to rescue them, this is the only submersible capable of that depth.
even our nuclear subs can't get deep enough to do anything.
if they are on the bottom they will remain on the bottom for a long time I think.
