I have noticed many lakes he has fished, that he never identifies. And I know he got allot of grief about Ivie, but he wasn't the one who let the cat out of the bag on Ivie. Almost 99.9% sure it was TPWD who spilled the beans. And I would say he isn't about to start doing it. It's an informative breakdown on how he locates fish, I wouldn't overthink it. Either your a MF fan, or your not. If you are looking for something to bring someone down, you will always try something. No offense, and I am not saying the person who started the thread is doing this. I'm casting no stone here, so I am sorry if it sounds like this. I really am excited to see him do well this year, and pray the Good Lord watches over him and all the others who are following their dream "Fishing". I would absolutely love to see Ben win a classic someday. He is on a Cinderella story path, and I hope it comes to fruition. Can we be somewhere in the middle or is that not allowed? Unfortunately not much room for that these days. Apparently everything is black or white to most. I'm in the middle here as well. I think the guy is a great angler and puts out good content. My only beef is he has been dishonest with misleading video titles advertising. This is just another example. The guy has the talent that he doesn't need to be dishonest. In this case was it a mistake? While I'm not crazy about the click bait video descriptions and titles, I hope he makes it to the elites.

I'm not mad. I just think its shady for a guy to claim he showed up on an unknown body of water (show a topo map and weather conditions for said body of water) and claim to catch a 30+ bag in under 4 hours while he's actually on a community hole 50 miles away......

Honest question. Does it make it less impressive that he caught a 30lb bag in under 4hrs off a community hole by not naming the right lake? 30lbs is still impressive to me.

The guy can straight up fish. It does not matter what lake he was on. You can use what he showed on any lake. A 30 pound bag in 4 hours is insane on any lake. Just let the guy fish. He has already proven he can catch fish on different lakes. Take the info he shared and use it on other lakes. Bill Dance fished private lakes all the time. he was just showing you how to get the fish to bite with certain baits and techique.

NO. It just makes him a liar and apparently nowadays a lot of people like to be lied too.  I'm not mad. why would anybody care if he loses sponsors it wont cost them any money. the guy can fish an lots of folks that have 100k boats an 50 k in tackle will never have a 30 pound sack just a lot of whiners.
