Nice post and fish . The colors are GREAT for catching fish, especially crappie!

What's that wire looking thing wrapped around the eyelet? Top picture. I got tired pushing soft plastics up on the jig hook after fish bit so I came up with a surefire solution: grub grip wire.

Cool post! Plus 1. Those jugs look like the Crappie Magnets you can buy at Academy. I use them often with good results.

Magnets are different: double tails that quiver. [i]Carrot sticks /i] have a solid tapered tail that quivers slightly but the whole lure darts back & forth and glides depending on rod tip motion and reel handle turns. Magnet: These fish were caught on the carrot: Of the 115 fish caught in two consecutive days, over 1/3 were caught on the carrot.
