I fished Ray Bob this morning and didn't get a bite. That's unusual for me at that lake.

Anyone else have any luck?

If Bass Champs didn't have a tournament there I would never fish Ray Roberts again. I know that didn't answer your question about today.

My opinion is that the density if fish is low but that there are big ones. I joke with my buddies that there are only 47 bass in the lake, but that ten of them are 5-8 pounders who hang out together. Whoever finds them first wins.

I caught them pretty good 2 weeks ago. But had to cut the trip short. Went back the next day and zeroed. Only thing I caught last weekend was catfish. Decided to go to Texoma today. It sucked less.

Definitely a change in the pattern in the last two weeks. Summer pattern came in quickly for me.

If the weather holds up we will try to head out there tomorrow evening. I wasn't on the pattern before, so maybe I will be now! roflmao fish

I don't fish Ray Roberts that often but it really reminds me a lot of Richland Chambers. Both really fishy looking lakes but for me I really have to cover a ton of water for few bites but those bites seem to be really decent fish.

The bass will wait suspended in deep water until all the annoying jet skiers are off the water.
