We are going to Split Croatia in July 2023. I'm looking for recommendations for a saltwater and freshwater guide. Any input is appreciated. Thanks Dan

Sorry I can’t help with a fishing guide there, but when I went several years ago, we SCUBA dived around Vis Island. The trawlers would go out early in the mornings, and as they returned, it was like a migration of all the island folks to get their fish for the day.
I did eat some of the best sea bass I can ever remember putting my teeth into. The Adriatic Sea is dotted with islands along the Croatian coastline. I hope you have as enjoyable and memorable time as I did.
I always say that if I just ‘all of a sudden’ disappear from the face of the earth, don’t look for me on Vis Island… because that’s where I’ll be, and I won’t want to be found! LOL
