Fishing on Cedar Creek these past 2-3 weeks has been phenomenal! Early Morning schooling and bird acton, followed by stacks of white bass and hybrids on the mid lake humps and flats. If you just take a little time to look around and be patient you will find them stacked up. Using several different lures throughout the day. 1 oz slabs burning off the bottom, Bo Blade spinners, MAL Lure, (all the same technique as the slab). Also when the fish are schooling I am throwing a big spoon or swim bait to attract the larger hybrids. When the bite is tougher we are out finding big schools stacked up and then slabbing off the bottom with very quick jerks at varying speeds with any of the above mentioned 3 lures, or trolling with small crankbaits.
