you guys might want to check the link I posted. In The Tundra Forum look for the Bed Bouncing thread. It seems that the Trd's have a problem with certain road conditions. I have the Double Cab Sr5. The only thing I've noticed is if your on a rough road your gonna know it. As far as Pulling and Stopping I'm towing about 4000 pounds and no problem. Right now with 4500 miles I get 20 on the highway and about 16 in the City. It's very hard to keep your foot out of it too.

Mike, I tow a 19' Ranger with it and the truck doesn't know it is back there. I towed a 23' Airstream travel trailer for a short distance and again the truck showed no evidence of knowing it was hooked on. The brakes are HUGE FRONT AND REAR so I don't think stopping will every be a problem and with 381 horses and 401 ft. lbs of torgue I don't think going will be a problem either.

One of my employees just bought this exact truck and of course the first order of business was a fishing trip. I will say this is the nicest truck I have been in. I have a ZX250 Skeeter and it pulled phenomenally well. My opinion it should be on everyone's list when considering a new truck. Best handling tuck I have ridden in. Was suprised how much room and how comfortable the back seats were.

A buddy of mine just got back from an extended vacation trip and had trouble with his 12 year old Dodge V-10 (75000 miles). He stopped at 3 dealerships in Tulsa, Ok. to get something done and all 3 told him he would have to wait till Monday for them to look at it. It was a Friday afternoon (3pm). He was 300 miles from home and no Dodge dealership wanted to help. Guess what he is gonna buy to replace his Dodge? And the big 3 wonder why Toyota is overtaking them-I ain't no rocket scientist but I think it is service and quality.

Can you shoot us some prices on the Crew Max 4x4 5.7L. I would like the limited model only if I could get it with out NAV and SUNROOF though. I would be curious to know what one with cloth and not all the options is going for as well. Thanks

Mike, I traded in my 2006 Ford F250 6.0 CrewCab heavy duty everything on a new 2007 Tundra CrewMax and have not looked back. This new motor that Toyota has put in these trucks is nothing short of amazing. I only have 6150 miles on mine. I have a Skeeter ZX225 and it pulls it like it is not there. The pick up on this motor is scary, those commercials are for real, wait until you drive one, you will not believe it.... I am currently getting 16-17.4 in town and 18 on the highway. I started out at around 14.5-15 in town and 16.5 on the highway. It is getting better all the while. I tow at 70-75MPH and I get 11.5-12.5MPG at those speeds so far. The room in the back seat is much, much more than I had with the 250. My bed on the truck is smaller; however, the only thing I ever put back there is a BBQ grill to go to the lake with so it did not matter to me.

So is there now, or ever going to be a Tundra crewmax with a long bed, or at least standard bed?
