Looks like Dave Ramsey may be in for some tough legal battles over his “endorsement” of a time share exit business. I wonder how some of these revelations will play with the Ramsey faithful?

so they paid him to advertise for them on his show, which he did..then they went under..what is the issue?..how are you supposed to know if the companies that advertise and pay you will never go under?

I guess it depends on what all he knew.

Those TV personality investment folks that like to rant and rave with exuberance are selling advertising and can't be trusted.

Dave is a scam. He has figured out how to get rich by telling people common sense stuff.

True. I have a co worker that is absolutely drowning in debt. He's 35 and was addicted to the oilfield lifestyle. I told him when you get pissed off enough from you and your family suffocating in debt, late fees, sky high interest rates and creditors calling you daily, at least listen to this.I gifted him Ramseys class and a couple of audio books for him to listen to. He kept making snide remarks about how he wishes he didn't have to live paycheck to paycheck and asking me for money. Told him I wouldn't GIVE him money, but I will give you the keys to find your own financial peace. Here's your keys, YOU have to learn to drive this for yourself.


As for the original post, throughout history, lowly swindlers have been trying to fleece the rich with bogus lawsuits. Ramsey even had a podcast about the very thing a few weeks ago...talking about how Mr. Swindly Lawyer was suing all the big celebs who endorsed that bitcoin thing that lost billions in a matter of hours, think it was Bankmanfried. So yeah, if you have wealth, like BIG wealth, just about anyone is going to try to take it from you.
