Lol that's brilliant

Damn near burned the tread off my rear tires trying to load up. Unbelievable.

Who hasnt had to do an emergency oil change on the boat ramp? Geez.

A while ago I was unloading my boat by myself and when I unloaded my boat I left my truck backed in , I wasn’t paying attention I went and tied my boat up and when i came back there was a boat on my trailer the guy said I forgot my plug so I pulled up and let some of the water out he put the plug in and I backed him back down in the water.

Coming back in to ramp at port Everglades on the ICW, I watched this guy try 7 times to pull boat/trailer out of the water..He finally had someone hook up to his truck to help, got someone in boat to run engins to help… busted strap tied to other vehicle.. boat on ramp beside him was getting pushed off trailer from other boat.. I was getting swept back, it was a mess.. half an hour before he gave up until he could find a chain to use..

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

Poop on the ramp brought back a bad memory. I launched at Holiday once and someone had left a baggie full of shad right on the path to the dock. I am guessing it had been there at least a day in the hot sun. Of course I stepped on it and the baggie popped open spewing rotten shad juices all over my shoe and sock. I was not happy. I hate people that litter.

Trying to load up after a tournament on Palestine, we were all back up because a husband and wife were having a domestic dispute trying to load their boat. She was snaking the trailer down the ramp and he was in the boat cussing a blue streak. She would get out of the truck and start cussing back at him. It was a 2 lane ramp but she occupied all of it. Nobody offered to help because we didn't want to get into the middle of it. We all kept our distance and just chuckled.

Later on after the weigh in, we got our coolers and lawn chairs and went back to the ramp to watch the entertainment. 2 raggedy dudes limped up to the ramp. One of then jumped out of the boat and went to their beater truck and proceeded to back their trailer down the middle of the 2 lane ramp cutting off others who were waiting to back down the ramp. Let's just say some people were getting really pi$$ed off but nobody said anything. So the dude in the boat drives it up on the trailer but doesn't make all the way up. He tells the driver to back the truck up some more. The driver starts to go in to deep and the guy in the boat started yelling WHOA but the driver thought he said GO! and the truck driver floored it. Since the boat was not hooked, it slid off the trailer half way up the ramp. We were howling but still offered to help. They told to to F off so we went back and sat down. They proceeded to drag their small fiberglass boat down the ramp, load it on the trailer and then drove off.

I wished I had a video of all of this but we didn't have cell phones in those days.

Years ago we loading up at after a tourny on ivie. Elm creek has the dividers between lanes and its a long ramp. There was a lady trying to back up trailer to get her husband, he was yelling instructions, she was making an absolute mess of it and was border line hysterical. Walked up to window and offered to back it down. She looked at me just furious and told me to go f myself..... with a few more choice words. I hope they are still trying to back that trailer down.....
