This happened a few months ago, but I could not find a thread discussing it. Has anyone fished the Red River below the Denison Dam since they leveled all the structure in the river. I believe this took place in Feb or March?

Was wondering the same thing. The last time I was up there was when they had just scraped clean the Texas side. Couldn't find or see anything that looked like a fish....LOL. I know that they have finished the work. I have seen some Youtube videos published between 5 days and 2 weeks of folks catching some stripers during generation/water releases. Was thinking of heading up there this weekend to do a little wading to see how it looks and fishes.

So it was a little slow but did find some nice Stripers fishing from my canoe in the hole above the old railroad trestle piers. The week before I did find some nice Drum as well. [Linked Image]
