My rescue mutt from Lake Charles grabbed an airplane bottle of Fireball from the counter without us knowing. Dang dog was sweating profusely, falling over and throwing up. We thought she had a stroke and I was about to take her to the vet. She finally laid down and a few hours later she was fine. Next day my wife found the half drunk bottle with teeth marks on it on the stairs.

Our dog is a lab border collie rescue. She just showed up at our front door one chilly January Saturday morning , Somebody had just thrown her out in town we found out later. When we put her harness on, she becomes a statue. Won't move until we go out the door for a walk or her car ride. When she gets her daily treat, won't eat it if some one is watching her. Best dog we have had in a long time.

We had a dog once that would take a mouthful of food from her bowl and go to Livingroom and eat it on the carpet.
