Anyone have info on richland chambers? My home lakes are Ray Hubbard, Tawakoni and Lavon, but I have a buddy who lives in Bryan/CS so we are meeting halfway on Sunday. I was looking at my Navionics and thinking of hitting Windsock point with live shad (if I can find them) depending on the weather. Any other tips/techniques would sure be appreciated! I've never been on the lake so its all new territory for me. Thanks!

If you can't get any good intel on RC, Cedar Creek is just a bit farther for your buddy but I know you can get some good intel on that lake. Many of us freely share info here. I'll be going out either tomorrow or Friday afternoon.

Windsock is good but go to the 309 flats first for Hybrids and whites. Use a heavy chartreuse slab with a teaser jig in white or chartreuse. Check out In front pelican Isle there is structure and drop off.

Its been quite awhile but I'm sure it hasn't changed. Putting in at Oak Cove, head under bridge toward Pelican Island (can catch fish before the island and out into main lake from the island). From there head toward the dam on north side and search the 309 Flats. You can head to Windsock from there. Those are the most popular areas, look for boats wink

Depth is the key if they aren't on top. Bounce slabs / spoons off the bottom (pay attention to the fall of the lure)

I guess Memorial Day weekend there was a boat show on Pelican island. Lots of limits, and boats!

Well, it was a successful trip at RC. Really enjoyed Oak Cove, super friendly folks and well stocked ship store. Looking forward to trying their menu next trip. The fish were scattered. We fished some spots given to us by some of you TFF’ers (thank you!!) with live shad, slabs and jigs and the MAL. We caught several short hybrids, a couple of keeper hybrids and several whites. All in all, a good trip for the first time on the water. Will absolutely be back. Thanks to you guys, it was a success. Appreciate everyone’s help!
