We have had about 2-3 years of health issues and family commitments that had severely cut back the time I was able to get on the water. Life has gotten back to our "normal" the past 2 months and I appreciate every second I get on the water so much more than I used to. I will never take it for granted again.

It has made fun fishing even more fun and we have been in the midst of a really nice run tournament wise this past year. I think on my part it's because being on the water means so much more to me now.

bliss, till about three hours into it when I've caught nothing and then it's pure hate

No doubt. Very, very few are "making" any money fishing at a local level.

Serenity and listening to the local “pros” stories while they stay up getting smashed until 2 in the morning with their 80k rigs telling me how they are “on em” while asking me where we caught them today.
