This is the epitome of working your Butt off and perfecting a craft. Once you've worked your butt off and perfected your craft, then you can sell your waypoints.

Work your butt off to earn money to buy waypoints.

Its silly how offended fisherman get about shortcuts in the industry. If the waypoints are theirs, they should be able to sale them if they want. Are you offended by guides showing people how to fish too?

Nothing wrong with this- information has been traded for years. Guys have online services where you can buy lake maps with spots on them.

There is a guide at Fork who has been doing it for several years. Donald Harper offers that service on this site.

Most of those people don't even go back and fish the lake themselves. I never said they couldn't sell them, just said wow. Baffles me that the one I this from on BTL posted a YouTube video complaining about people casting over him during a tournament. Wonder how many others will be casted over now because of he is selling the spots.

Some of the waypoints are just public knowledge. Anyone who can download the TPWD structure Google Earth pro file as well as look at a Navionics online chartviewer can probably build at least half of the waypoints themselves.

There's a few guys on YouTube who share their waypoints for free and take you through each one.

I have a buddy that paid $10,000 for a book of offshore snags in the gulf that a shrimper put together. We have hit about half of them so far. Half are loaded with fish, half are gone. He runs trips all summer and for him he saw it as fuel savings on running from spot to spot. There are areas in the gulf where you can have 20 miles between structure. If they sell them I don’t see why bass guys couldn’t. Let the buyer beware I guess.

Back in my day we potlicked our spots the old fashion way with binoculars and triangulation.
