I have an older ranger boat and need a custom lid box made. I have not had the best luck with Ranger support. Went fishing this past weekend and the lid finally gave in. Anyone know who makes customs lids for compartments?
Thanks

A piece of aluminum and fold the sides to form a lid and weld it. Sounds kinda easy.

You will have better luck going to a custom metal fab shop and asking them. There is a really good one near Bridgeport. PM me if you want the guy's number. Otherwise, Google is your best bet for finding one if you're not near BP

Thanks for the helpful response Ken. I live in Ennis but work out in Bedford. BP is not a terrible drive. Will you message me his info?
Thanks for the help…

A piece of aluminum and fold the sides to form a lid and weld it. Sounds kinda easy. Easy for you.... not all of us are gifted with the knack of fabrication. (and I mean that as a compliment)

(and I mean that as a compliment) Maybe. Maybe not. I go to lake Clark every tuesday( or Bardwell), if the OP wanted to bring me the lid I could look at it and see if it’s something that could easily be rebuilt. If he’s in Ennis, it would be a 5 minute trip for him. There are also a few other guys that fish those working man’s deals that are capable fabricators. I’ve seen one of the guys weld his trailer back together while his partner fished the boat and they still got paid. Haha.
