Is there a ramp near the dam on the West side of the lake besides the one by Stumpy's? Trying to launch closer to the dam and not have to make such a long run.

I knew about those but was hoping I guess to find something closer to the dam opposite of De Cordova.

Duke, the only public ramps you will find are on TPWD's website, there are several other ramps on Granbury but they are all private. The Dam site, or Stumpy's is the best you will find for the southern end of the lake.

Not sure where you're heading. You talk of the dam and not having to make such a long run, but there's a free ramp next to the dam.

I was looking for a ramp on the other side of the dam, and there's not one without making a long run. I did have some good luck when I went. [Linked Image]
