This is why I don't fish on Holidays! I used to have a trailer house on this part of the lake.

That is exactly why I don't go out on the big holidays.

Just because there are alot of boats doesn't mean it's a bad time. I've been to the Cedar Creek 4th of July boat show on the lake many times and had a great time each and every time. Contrary to what some people like to think, all of the people in that pic aren't idiots. Almost all of them are good people out having a good time and doing it the right way.

I do realize that many of you are scared of crowds and the big city and that's OK I guess. I hope you find continued safety as shut-ins.

Well it's 54* right now with an expected high of 72* with a chance of rain so I don't think my lake will be near that crowded... We went out on the pontoon yesterday, high of 62* and cloudy. We ate lunch at one of the more popular restaurants on the water and the place was empty. It's about a 5 mile run, we only saw 2 other boats going and one coming back... I hate it for the businesses on the water because they depend on the bookend holidays to make their money... Dan
