Did you go out and party and whoop it up?

We were good kids, but we partied and whooped it up. Class of 94. I remember thinking that the entire night felt weird, like everything was changing. It dang sure did, too. It’s funny how many really good friends I had in high school that I haven’t seen since that night.

I graduated but did not walk I was pretty over high school by the end of the year. I actually had a date with a hottie enjoyed that heaps more than Pomp and Circumstance.

Quick lunch at Steak & Ale before my shift at Drug Emporium stocking the shelves. Evening with girlfriend.

rented a house at Myrtle Beach for the week after graduation..unsupervised in 1980..remember parts of that night

We had a big party at a lake house on lake Lanier, one of our friends parents owned, it was a wild nite and we did a bit of damage. I actually had a hard cast on my foot and got dumped into the lake, kinda messed up the cast.

I remember graduation night well. I had a job, I worked.

I did not go to it. I was working my swing shift at The Orleans Bowling Center like I did five night a week... never did plan on "walking".

Most of friends said they were not going to go either but they all did, parents made them. I did not have that problem.

1979 , partied all night , girlfriend at the time was 21 , didn't go to sleep until 10:00am the next day . woke up at 5pm and tried to remember what happened

Went to an all night party out at The Blue Hole. There were maybe a dozen of us. I remember very little of the night

The graduation was in Dover AFB, I was in San Antonio. Glad I moved I didn’t care much for Delaware.

We graduated in late afternoon at the State Fair Music Hall in Dallas. Later that evening most of us went to the all-night party. It was a lot of fun!

I was also a 79

I showed up most of the time my Senior year...had enough credits to graduate so I wasn't worried. The vice principal decided I need to help load diplomas in the van...his idea of punishment for my attitude I guess...:) i load the boxes and when I got to the 'T's" I found my diploma. He got all bent out of shape at me and I told him FU and left. i figured I was gonna get drafted so I wasn't too worried about what some jumped up HS principal liked or wanted...:)

Told my Dad what I'd done and said and he just rolled his eyes and said well try and not get arrested tonight for doing something stupid with your buddies...:) Off to the partys at Shasta Lake....for the next 3 days. House boats and water skiing...beer and bikinis. Oh and I did go to graduation....and just smiled at the VP when I collected my diploma. I went because my Dad asked me too and I did not want to disappoint him. He had my back then and in the years to come. I had an a good Dad.

I don't recall, but I'm sure we partied somewhat or drag raced, then partied. Had a 66 El Camino at the time that I supported with a full time job senior year.

Lewisville class of 94. I remember graduation, had grandparents in town I had dinner with. Don't remember much after I left them.

Nope because I knew I’d have real accomplishments. Graduating HS wasn’t and still isn’t that big of a deal except in Marlin, Texas 😁

Nope, but have no doubt my brother-in-law does. He peaked in high school and loves reliving it with endless stories.

Went and drank keg beer in a pasture like every other weekend of high school.

Would have been in 78 but I had my GED and had been in the USAF for over a year!

Remember it very well. Pulled into my HS parking spot for the last time to graduate in May of 77. My car died about before I got pulled into my spot and wouldn`t start again or after graduation either. Had to get a ride to our senior party in the country and rode back with a friend late into the night. I haven`t seen 75% of them after that night either. The next day my car started with ease. I always wondered if someone above was watching out for me and didn`t want me driving after drinking and under the influence. About 2 weeks later the electronic ignition went out and I had it replaced.

I had to be at SFA to take the ACT at 8:00 the next morning. It wasn't my usual super-late night.

I loved high school because I had great friends. I played golf with one of them yesterday. We've been best friends since 1972. I went to the 80th birthday party of another friend's mom last year. She was a hot 33 year old when I met her. I get together with two other childhood friends from time to time, play poker and/or golf, and have a great time.

Oh, and did I mention my wife was in my high school class?

I also had a great time in college at SFA and during the years afterward living in Nacogdoches. I've been blessed with good friends all my life.

It was not 100% good. Chiggers and other bugs from a female.

Yeah. Made it though that night and did not make that mistake exact mistake agian.

Went to a small private high school in Dallas. We at dinner at Bistro 31 in Highland Park Village, and I don’t think I did anything else that exciting the rest of the night.

We had a casino night/lock-in in our cafeteria...Won a cooler (I think Coleman, but might have been an igloo)...for 1993, not bad. And a lot of pizza, cokes, and some cake and ice cream. Decent time and a good way to say goodbye to a bunch of people I wouldn't see for another 10 years...and then again 10 years after that. I'm not going to my 30th. I've kept in touch with those I wish to keep in touch with. I do remember the football players crying off and on most of the night. I guess it was the realization that they wouldn't see each other much after that? I don't know. That was probably the weirdest part that I remember.

77 grad here.
I went and walked, got my diploma and sad.y talked to some friends before leaving and have never seen or spoken to again.
I went home finished packing because at 4 of 5 am, me and a buddy was heading out to Daytona Beach.

When I graduated from college, I had my diploma mailed to me. I never had any feeling of my class togetherness,heck I did not even know what year they were in.
I was working full time while going to school so it was just another day but knew school wasn’t going to be a part of it anymore.
I was wrong, about 8 years later went back got another degree from Ga. Tech, then a few years later graduated from Seminary School.
I think back all that education and now I can’t even remember anything including where I put the keys to my truck.

Yep, it was at Richardson Eagle stadium. Party afterwards was at Lake Lewisville Wynnwood Park complete with streakers and a bunch of drunks. I remember a chick that was laying in the woods and yelling that she wanted X and the dude that leaned out the front door of my tent and puked.

I didnt go to my graduation ceremony. I had booked a guide trip on Lake Fork that day and was fishing when everyone else was walking across the stage. Got home that night and found out my step Dad had passed away so odds are I wouldnt have been at my graduation anyway. That was before cell phones so I was the last to know.

I can’t ever forget it. My dad passed away right before I graduated. He never got to see that I actually did it, and then went on to 4 years at Baylor on a full scholarship.

Mine was pretty memorable. Throughout our entire school years our class saved for the Senior trip. Right after graduation we loaded into a grey hound with about a 12 pack of beer per person per day and headed off to a week long trip to Bourbon Street. It’s a wonder we all survived. There were only 21 of us but every damn one was still drinking when we rolled into Louisiana that morning.

I went, then home to eat supper and then went to work on the midnight stocking shift at Safeway.

Nope . . . . too much was going on at the time. June 1966

55 years ago today I was inducted into the US Army.

At least I survived.

I remember parts of it. After graduation (88) a group of us went to 6th street in Austin, bought some molly and partied until the cops shut it down at 2am. After that we went skinny dipping at 5 mile in San Marcos. I let some girl sit on my lap and steer and shift while I operated the gas and clutch and she almost drove us off a bridge. Next thing I remember was being at the girls parents lake house on Canyon lake. That morning we watched the sun come up and had breakfast on the deck. I'm not sure how we ended up there but when I starting looking around I didn't know anyone there except my best friend.

Yes sir...graduated class of 1995 Oceanside HS. We did our graduation down at the Oceanside Pier at the amphitheater. After graduation, we headed straight to the cabins on Del Mar Beach and got our party on. I got a little rowdy and decided it was best to cool off and went for a walk on the beach. Woke up the next morning on a lifeguard tower. Great times.

Class of 72 , graduated that night and went home to pack , left the next morning and went on harvest for two months . first stop was Perryton Texas

After walking i think we went and ate and then went home . Probably had a beer . Id had enough binge partying by that time was trying to turn over a new leaf .

Class of 72 here also. I barely remember it.

I don't remember. That was 49 years ago. Not much happens in small town USA.

They sat us in the mosquito infested track to hold us all.
Back then there was no indoors in small towns because of the crowds watching.

Remember it pretty well. Folks had moved to a town about 45 miles away about 2 weeks before Graduation. House had sold, but was still ours for another month. I was staying there by myself, going to the last couple weeks of school. After graduation my girlfriend and I hosted a party at the house for a few other couples in our class. Can't remember what I ate yesterday, but remember making pizza for that, and that was about a half a century ago.

I was on the stock crew @ Winn Dixie but got off for graduation. Had a few good friends at the Safeway down the street. Safeway paid better than anyone back in the day. I went in and told my store manager the day after graduation that I had to have a full-time job, or I was applying at a manufacturing plant down the street. He gave me a fulltime job that day in1977 and it lasted till I changed careers in 2006. A part-time job sacking groceries turned into a really good 31-year career for me. I`ve never really missed all those kids I went to school with, but I do miss all the people I worked with during my time in the grocery business.

I remember it very well. We were scheduled to have ceremonies in our football stadium. Skies darkened, and the downpour began. Frog drowning rain. I remember the new white shirt I had purchased was ruined by the green robe.

Graduation was tee shirts and shorts the next day in the auditorium.

1964.

Vividly. My girlfriend of 3 1/2 years, that we had made marriage plans broke up with me. The reason was one of her girlfriends convinced her that I had tried to have sex with her. Untrue! Turned out the girl was a LBGTQ or what ever and wanted her for herself.

Most of it. Remember having fun. But that was in 1980.

81 here. We stole a bunch of for sale signs and put them in front of the school.

I dropped out my junior year. I was probably buffing on a 1992 Pontiac Grand Am. I bought and sold a lot of Grand Am's in middle and high school. Could pick one up for 1500-2500 bucks and take it to auction and make me $500, or put an ad in the paper. LOL

High School :
4 years of your life that we spend the rest of our life either trying to relive, or trying to forget.

18 was legal drinking age at the time and we had a party at the country club. Drinks were too expensive to get very smashed plus my girl friend at the time was 17 and a year behind me in school so she couldn't drink (legally). We called it a night around midnight. Went to the lake the next day for more partying.

Class of 1993 hooked up the boat went to Toledo Bend got a guide the first day . Cause 18 was drinking age in La at that time...

Another Class of 72 with legal drinking age of 18.

Party started on Friday night and finally ended Sunday night.

I was the good kid that stayed home.

Shoot I did that for most of college. It was the working world that made me start drinking

I didn't party at all. I went straight home and started studying for college.

Guarantee I didn't stay home. BUT the only thing I remember about that day is I almost didn't get to walk the stage because the assistant principal thought may hair was too long. Mom had to pin it up. It's funny though, nobody told me what I couldn't do when I went off to college. First thing I did was cut my hair short. Just wanted to stick it to the man, I guess.

Class of 71, No recollection at all , alcohol may have been involved, Showed up late and hungover to Graduation Practice.
Was allowed to walk , but not allowed on the senior trip.

Hopped in my parents van with a couple of buddies to go trout fishing in Colorado. Spent the night in the van on Raton Pass.

Here's a fun fact about me and my graduation...I was the first and only graduating student that kissed our Principal. It was on the cheek and she wasn't expecting it at all. Had the stadium blow up with laughter as it caught her off guard. She and I had a long standing relationship due to me making several visits throughout my 4 years of HS. My file was around an inch thick with complaints and awards. I was bored throughout school so I was the class clown. They could never understand how I was usually top of the class but also the a$$ in class. School came easy to me during that time. Graduated with honors at 3.81 GPA.

I was at a rodeo in Bandera getting on a bareback horse. Ended up winning 2nd and had a few beers out in the parking lot with the guys.

Class of 79, there were around 970 in my graduating class. With a last name in the T's i sat there a long time waiting for my turn, glad that i had a bottle of Jack Daniels to keep me company.
