Today I hopped in Jeff’s boat for an electronics trip! It’s always a pleasure to get on the water with him (and his wife Patty). We spent majority of the trip riding around and I was showing him what condos, brush and even rocks looked like on 2d and down imaging. Tweaked some setting and got the best picture I could! We even fished old school with no livescope for a while at the end and caught a few fish. It was kind of refreshing to not have livescope and fish the old way for a change. Don’t forget that I also offer these trips for 200$ for a half day. I can hop in your boat, get your electronics dialed and even put you on some fish in the process! Check out my website for an accurate calendar of available dates and a way to book! I am bouncing around between Joe pool, Lewisville, grapevine, Lavon and Ray Roberts all summer long. https://kidkrappie.comThanks for all the support! Phew... I have been busy with trip and flat wore out most days but I am super thankful for each opportunity. Quick report, Crappie continue to move out to post spawn areas and the bite is picking up each day. Most fish for me are coming from 10-25 ft on docks, bridges, timber and brush. Report is mainly from Ray Roberts and Cedar Creek but applies to pretty much all the lakes around. Most fish are coming from locations in the lake breakdowns I offer. Friday I made the drive down to cedar creek with Charlie! He is a long time follower of my Youtube Channel and wanted to try his hand at dock shooting and did some practicing at home and it showed! He caught his first every dock shooting fish and a bunch more to boot! We focused on docks in 8-17 ft of water for the most part. I really enjoyed the trip with him and can't wait to do it again next year. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2023/05/full-26829-184030-2ee891c1_a975_4207_91e6_6b630e853e3f.jpeg) On Sunday, I had out Chris and David On Ray Roberts. Both had not done much crappie fishing and we focused mostly on being able to feel the bite and watching the line for when it went slack. Focused on vertical cover in 10-20 ft for the most part and also caught some on brush in the same depth range. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2023/05/full-26829-184033-img_1349.jpg) I have availability towards the end of June and all of July if anyone wants to get out! I will be bouncing around between Ray Roberts, Lewisville, Grapevine, Lavon and Joe Pool all summer long and offer discounted trips during the week as well for certain lakes. Check out my website for an accurate calendar and a way to book Lake Breakdowns are still available for 100$ each for the above lakes minus Grapevine. Shoot me an email at anthonyruyle@gmail.com I will be back on the water tomorrow Thanks for all the support!

This morning I had out Jared on good ole Lewisville and the bite was tough but we got dialed after a few stops. Fish are not everywhere but when you find a good spot with active fish, you can put fish on ice fast. Numbers were down but the size was the best average I have seen on this lake in a while. He caught every species in the lake today except for a hybrid, drum lol Sandies are all over as usual on this lake and you catch them not even trying out there. All caught on minnows and B'n'M Fishing. Best bite was about 15 ft. Thanks for coming out today Jared! I had a blast! He caught all these fish on locations in the lake breakdown I offer. If interested, shoot me an email anthonyruyle@gmail.com If you are interested in a guided crappie trip check out my website below for a way to book. This bite is going to be good all summer/fall long. I am booked solid out to about mid June. I also offer discounted trips during the week if interested. https://kidkrappie.comThanks everyone for all the support!! I am super thankful to be this busy ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2023/05/full-26829-184601-7c63415a_a9b6_4080_86e3_d652540e13b3.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2023/05/full-26829-184602-8854b906_1c60_4e0c_b11d_178c4946afaa.jpeg)

Summer bite is on!! Phew! Today capped off an amazing month of May! I have been more busy than ever with trips and I have been truly blown away! I hopped in Walt’s boat today on the home lake. He wanted to mainly know where to go, what kind of pattern they get on out here in the summer and wanted to put some fish in the boat. I got to fish with him which was nice since I don’t get too much on trips. I normally don’t fish but if my client insists then I will. We hopped all over the lake and picked off a few here and there with lots of inactive fish in the mix. We jumped around and put 24 in the well old school fishing while showing him the lake. He has a 1198 on the console and 2d/di on the front. No livescope! That’s one thing with me, I don’t mind going without livescope at all. I’ve fished this way most of my life even though I don’t do it as much anymore. I caught all my fish on my 9ft sams super sensitive B'n'M Fishing rod with micro jigs on a 1/16th oz jighead. I really had a good time as did he and I look forward to seeing him on the water in the future! I have zero weekend dates open in June but have some dates open in the middle of July if anyone is interested. While it will be hot, the bite will be just as hot as the temps! I also have lots of availability during the week which I will do at a discounted rate of 50$ off. I also do electronics trips as well! Check out my website below for a way to book and an accurate calendar! https://kidkrappie.com ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2023/05/full-26829-185029-026918e9_2606_4333_b439_8e3b6c83e75c.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2023/05/full-26829-185030-2489e3e9_58e9_422b_945a_fc1d8a061536.jpeg)

Fish are settled into their summer patterns and the bite is al over the place. Now that the full moon is over it was better today. Finding all my fish on brush, timber and rocks in 12-24 ft. Using mostly minnows but still getting some on small jigs. Last Sunday I had out Kelly and Nam out for their second trip with me. Their first trip resulted in 45 keepers so the expectation was set high. I saw what was the toughest bite I had seen all year. Fish were loaded up but we just struggled to get the bigger ones to fire. Eventually we kept working at them and finally got some to bite. I think the full moon had alot to do with that tough bite. They had steady action all trip and got enough to stink the grease! ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2023/06/full-26829-186353-aef658bb_3d12_4d0d_8afd_61cc8a822aeb.jpeg) Today was one of those trips I will remember for a long time! I had the pleasure of having Kenneth and his 7 year old son Brady out on the lake! Talk about a great trip!! We had to get up early and check the weather and it was all clear. This was one of those trips where everything just lined up. First spot was loaded and they were chomping! They put a solid 15 nice ones in the boat in about 1.5 hours or so. I had Brady rigged with a slip cork and he would just get so excited when his cork went under! He had to measure each fish and take them and put them in the cooler. From there we hopped around when the wind shifted and started ripping and picked fish off here and there. Brady had a great time riding around and getting splashed from all the wakes and wanted my boat to go 70 mph lol. He said this was the best fishing trip ever and that right there made it all worth it for me! I snapped this pic when they went to the gas station to get dipping dots and cold drinks before I started cleaning them. Lots of solid 12-13 inch fish in the mix! All caught on minnows and B'n'M Fishing Sams Super Sensitive rods. What a day! I am booked up for June but have lots of availability for July! Check out my website for a way to book https://kidkrappie.com

Had Jamie and Jimmy out today on the weekend shift. Bite was tough to start but they turned on later and they put a hurting on them! I lost track of how many times Jamie slapped Jimmy in the face with a crappie lol. All fish caught on a variety of B'n'M Fishing poles. All were also caught on minnows and they went through 5 dozen of them. No shame here, I use minnows on most of my guide trips and will continue to do so. They just work and I want to not limit my customers. This is my last weekend trip for a few weeks. I’m taking tomorrow and the next 2 weekends off. Will be busy during the week with trips still. They kept me super busy running all over and even got a couple doubles! The bite is more work some days than others but it is still really good! I get off the water at 2 pm at the latest so we can still beat the heat and catch them! I am booked out for June but have lots of availability for July. Weekends and weekdays both. Don’t forget I offer discounted (50$) off trips during the week. Check out my website below for a way to book and to see my most accurate calendar. https://kidkrappie.comRight now I am jumping between Lewisville, Ray Roberts, Grapevine and Cedar Creek mostly. I am finding my fish in 10-25 ft on all lakes right now. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2023/06/full-26829-187231-354249241_728760479253721_9182602450135415263_n.jpg)

Today I had Matt and his daughter out on Ray Roberts. The goal today was to catch fish, not get sea sick and get enough for a fish fry and that was exactly what was done! She got a bass that was almost 5 pounds! It put up a fight but at the end of the day she and the B'n'M Fishing Sams Super Sensitive got it in the boat! This was another trip for the books and I can’t wait to share some more news from this trip in the future! Fished about 8 trees in 12-23 ft in an area that I haven’t been in in about 2 years and fish were right where they should have been! Released at least 15-20 small crappie and another 10-15 cats as well as some short sandies. They were all over the trees today and loved minnows. I have one more trip next week and then I am taking a week or so off. I have been super busy the last couple months and I am super thankful! I want to get out and enjoy the 4th of July holiday weekend since it’s the first full holiday I have had off in 8 years. If you are interested in a crappie trip check out my website below! July is pretty wide open and the bite will be good all month long and we can get off the water before it gets 100 plus degrees. https://kidkrappie.comI offer discounted trips during the week as well on certain lakes! ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2023/06/full-26829-187787-404c51a4_bff9_4af2_aef3_b1acad1f15b4.jpeg)
