Cut the flappers off.
Get the grill hot. Grill the wings for about 12/14 minutes. Turning when needed.

On the stove top, in a large pan, combine Louisiana hot sauce, a half stick of butter, 1/4 cup of white vinegar. Simmer on low heat.

When the wings are done add them to the sauce and stir them to coat evenly.

Serve with hummus, raw carrots, cucumbers, Kalamata olives.

Put a bowl on the table for the bones and plenty of napkins.

Its all about the rub
this is really good
Mix the following dry ingredients
1 Tablespoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1 Tablespoon Sugar
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 Tablespoon Paprika
1 Tablespoon Onion Powder

This will go with about 2 lbs of chicken wings, melt a whole stick of butter and then douse the wings in it
lay the wings out on a foil covered tray
sprinkle the mixture by hand over the wings to get 100% coverage on both sides

you can finish right there, but if you like them a little hotter sprinkle them with Franks
cook them at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, turn them over and cook them another 30 minutes and bam! you will be a freaking hero.

That's the method I use for Mrs RayBob. She loves the Franks but heck, she loves vinegar on her fries too and even gravy and cheese curds. Strange woman at times but I sho do luv her.

I cook wings in the oven once a month and sometimes more often. Usually to large cookie pans full. I'll do Mrs RB's like above and I make up a concoction of stubs, soy sauce, and liquid smoke and then shake on the Kick'n Chicken or/and TexJoy Rooster Booster. Lay out on parchment paper skin side up and then convect bake at 400 for 35 minutes. Then give them a 2 minute finish on broil. middle rack. No turning, just put 'em in the oven. You can do them with just the shake on seasonings until almost done and then pull 'em out and add the brushed on sauces and finish them for about 10 minute plus the short broil cycle.

Easy peasey and that's why I do it.

I'm sure the smoker would add a nice twist.

We dip in either the sauces we brush on them or I like ranch dressing to dip in. Makes great finger food but we'll make a meal on it.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !
