"There are currently no sales of the lab-produced meat being made in the Unites States, according to the FDA."

"What is cultured meat?

To put it simply, cultured meat is lab-produced meat using animal cells.

Food developers can use cells from livestock, poultry seafood or any other animal in the food production process, according to the FDA."

Uh, no thanks.

They'll be feeding the cattle and hogs tasty bugs...

"The demand to increase food production for a growing population, coupled with the need to reduce the carbon footprint of agriculture, is driving the search for new sources of protein for animal feed. Innovafeed believes the black soldier fly meets the requirements for a low-cost, nutritious, and eco-friendly alternative."
